There are several activities that we want you to be aware of. These include the following:
2. Tentative District 4 Tournament Dates
1. Summer Travel baseball
Those interested in playing Travel baseball during the summer of 2011, please be aware that you must fill out a travel registration form during the spring in-house registration. This year we will be holding tryouts for the travel teams on March 5 and March 12. In order to be placed on a travel team, the player must attend the tryouts and must play in the NF Babe Ruth in-house season. The number of travel teams can not be determined until after the tryouts in March.
2. District Tournament
The District Tournaments constitute all the surrounding towns. We will explore options as the season goes along for them.

You should note the dates so you can plan your vacation times appropriately if your son or daughter wants to be eligible to be considered for the selection to the District team.
3. Jimmy Fund Tournament
We are hoping the travel teams will be able to participate in this worthy tournament that is held every year. The dates for the tournament this year are not set yet:

14 and Under :Dates TBD
15 and Under :Dates TBD
The retired District 4 Commissioner, Bill Pullan, has raised over $1,000,000.00 in his years as Commissioner for the Jimmy Fund.
4. Fall Baseball
Okay so this is an early notice, but Babe Ruth does have a fall league. We will send you more information about this program later in the year.
